Tower of Modula (Early Access)

Tower of Modula is a game about climbing a tower in hopes of finding everything that the heroes of legend wanted to keep secret.

This is a retro-style turn-based RPG. You play as a trio of strangers looking to reach the top of the tower: a vampire, a wizard, and a jester.

It's light on story and largely focuses on combat and building your party how you want it.

It's also what I'm dubbing an Arena RPG, a type of game I've been fiddling with and made up a name for. To me, an Arena RPG is a combat-focused RPG that takes place in a very contained area, like a singular building. It has less of an emphasis on travel when compared to a "Dungeon Crawling RPG."

This game is still early in development and I would love to hear feedback from you, especially on combat balance! I hope to patch this demo every month or two with new content. I plan to make the tower about 20  floors tall. If you're curious how long this demo currently is, it currently contains 11 floors and takes approximately 1 hour to complete.

The demo is [unfortunately] only available for Windows currently. It will be available for Mac when it's closer to completion.

If you're curious, Modula is pronounced like the word "modular" without the R.
